Tied aid vs. buy local

A previous post asked why aid is often tied, condoms are produced 20,000 miles away from where they are used and a lot of money is wasted on shipping goods that might be produced locally. This video by the Market Dividend Initiative, via Healthy Lives, makes a case for switching from tied aid to local procurement.
